During your 3-year apprenticeship, you will be working with a qualified engineer and will assist in the installation and service of a range of security products (CCTV Systems, Access Control, Fire Systems, Intruder Systems, ANPR, Internet Protocol) in a wide range of premises (Government Establishments, Banks, Shops, Supermarkets, Factories, Offices and other High Security Buildings).
What will I learn?

SQA Personal Development Award in Electronic Fire and Security Systems
You will learn the safe use of hand tools and health and safety in the work place. You will gain the knowledge and experience required to install and maintain security systems. As an ever changing industry you will work with the latest technology within the fire and security industry.
What qualification or qualities are required?
You must have a minimum of National 4 Grades in English, Maths, Physics/CDT and I.T. band 1-3.
You must be reliable, enthusiastic, willing to learn and able to use your initiative. You should have good timekeeping and communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.
It is preferred that you have good IT skills as our larger projects require the use of computers and networks.
