Sandy Rowan, CEO

Pointer are one of the UK's largest independent security companies. We have been in private hands throughout our thirty-nine year history, with the Rowan family as majority shareholders. Sandy follows his father, the founder of Pointer, Mr Bob Rowan, at the helm of the company.

Educated at the University of Edinburgh, Sandy is a member of the board at the Scottish Business Crime Centre (SBCC).He is also an affiliated member of the Institute of Directors.

Sandy has a wealth of industry experience and is steeped in business know-how.

And despite our growth and our global spread, we've never lost sight of that personal touch which was the hallmark of the company when it was first formed in Glasgow in 1972.
