Project Description
Bank Muscat have built a state of the art facility at Seeb,
Muscat which will allow them to centralise all its core services
and personnel. Featuring an environmentally controlled, internal
street at Ground Level and extensive money handling and counting
facilities at Basement Level the Security Consultants required a
system that was extremely flexible and powerful, capable of
delivering a fully integrated electronic security solution which
included over 250 cameras, 290 access controlled doors, over 40
intercom stations and an Intruder Alarm System that included Duress
Alarms.
Pointer delivered the solution utilizing the feature rich,
market leading, OnGuard solution from Lenel Systems International, a subsidiary of UTC
Fire and Security.
A Visitor Management software suite is also integrated to the
solution and Time & Attendance Reports delivered to the Payroll
Department.
Biometrics provide increased security as necessary with both
fingerprint and iris recognition technologies being incorporated in
the solution.
Pointer delivered a comprehensive set of 3D maps to enrich the
Graphics User Interface ensuring System Operators can easily
navigate the system allowing them to concentrate solely on security
matters.
Finally the solution will allow the Bank to fully integrate the
electronic security in all their branch-es into the Central Control
Room in the future.
