Human Resources Business Partner

Reporting to the Managing Director for Pointer Limited, and as a key member of the Operational Senior Management team, the HR Business Partner  will share our values, be aware of and celebrate the value and power of collaborative work. They will bring a pragmatic, positive and proactive approach to the job and be comfortable working at pace.

Job Type:        Full time, Permanent

Salary :            Starting from £45k – Dependent on experience

Schedule:        Monday to Friday

About You

Reporting to the Managing Director for Pointer Limited, and as a key member of the Operational Senior Management team, the HR Business Partner  will share our values, be aware of and celebrate the value and power of collaborative work. They will bring a pragmatic, positive and proactive approach to the job and be comfortable working at pace.

The key responsibilities of the role will include:

     

      • Discussing business strategies, HR challenges and HR plans that can support the business in achieving its strategic and operational objectives.

      • Providing a wide ranging HR Business Partnering service to management, ensuring that all managers have the necessary tools and capability to professionally manage themselves and their colleagues.

      • You will have 3 direct reports including our Talent and Training Manager, HR Assistant and Fleet Administrator.

      • In collaboration with our Talent & Training Manager you will refine and develop culture initiatives underpinned by our values which promote open communication, colleague engagement, mentoring and talent development.

      • Management of HR projects and change within the business.

      • Developing plans for recruitment, induction, training, restructuring and succession and help relevant colleagues implement them.

      • You will build, maintain and promote strong working relationships with key stakeholders and continually support colleagues and teams.

      • You will lead and advise colleagues with managing ER cases, recruitment and selection and remuneration issues.

      • You will develop ,monitor and maintain HR policies and procedures for the business to ensure accuracy, consistency, and legal compliance.

    What we are looking for in you:

       

        • An experienced HR Business Partner, ideally, supported by your CIPD 7 and a proven background in adding value and improvements.

        • Ambassador for the Pointer brand.

        • An advocate of our values.

        • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.

        • Absolute integrity, proven business acumen, knowledge of culture, communications and HR best practices.

        • Knowledge of the principles of IIP, IBL, Humanocracy, and similar colleague engagement philosophies.

        • Ability to demonstrate initiative and a creative, proactive and innovative approach to problem solving.

        • Ability to summarise complex issues in a concise and easily understood fashion.

        • Resilience, approachable, curious, organised and confident.

        • Knowledge of learning management software programmes.

        • UK driving licence.
