Our story

Promises kept. Since 1972.

We started with residential alarms. Today, we protect some of the UK’s most complex, high-security environments.

Clients choose us because we deliver what we promise. Every time.

Our journey

Every milestone reflects a step towards greater scale, responsibility, and capability:

1972 – Established in Glasgow

First installations focused on residential alarms – we quickly gained our reputation for reliability and trust.

1976 – First apprentice hired

Investment in skills and training began – a principle that still drives our workforce development.

1989 – Expansion across the UK

Capacity grew to deliver our service across the UK.

1996 – Investors in People

Recognition for our people-first approach in project delivery – an approach that still stands.

2001 – International division launched

Expertise extended overseas. Today, we operate in Oman, the Philippines, and Thailand.

2004 – Fire division launched

Life safety systems added to our integrated solutions.

2021 – SME Employer of the Year

Workplace culture recognised at the Scottish Apprenticeship Awards.

2024 – ESG Initiative of the Year

Recognised at the Security & Fire Excellence Awards – proof that sustainability and performance can go hand in hand.

Growing to meet higher stakes

Each milestone reflects a response to new demands – more complex sites, tighter regulations, larger estates.

We’ve invested in:

  • Specialist sector knowledge in utilities, custodial, and data centre environments.
  • Partnerships with leading technology providers, giving clients early access to innovation.
  • Processes that keep projects compliant from design to handover.

Looking ahead

Environments will grow more complex, threats will change, and regulations will evolve. To help you stay in front, we’re building on our cyber-security skills, expanding our R&D partnerships, and integrating systems more deeply than ever before.

ESG in practice

We’re committed to net zero by 2044, with our progress independently verified.

Our ESG approach also includes:

  • Social value programmes in our communities
  • An award-winning apprenticeship scheme
  • Living Wage employer status
  • Ongoing investment in people’s wellbeing and development
